FAQ: Hair Extensions and Pregnancy?
During Pregnancy many women find their hair will be at its best, thick, full and shiny and they can continue to wear hair extensions as usual, however, after you have the baby many women find they shed lots of the hair they have gained during pregnancy due to the rapid change in hormones, this means extensions are not advised after pregnancy, our best advice would be to have them removed a month or two before you are due and to not have them refitted for 6 months after delivery to ensure that your hormones have settled down and the shedding has stopped. We do recommend you take a post natal vitamin like Perfectil to ensure your hair gets back to its best as quick as possible.
